Stuck? We can help you solve your UX & design challenges and help you and your team gain the skills you need.
Since 2020, we've been working with our community to rebrand Simply Secure. This post explores how we collaboratively built our new identity as Superbloom.
As part of our collaboration with Mozilla’s YouTube Regrets project in 2020, our team mapped out and analyzed YouTube controls in order to understand how users are given the illusion of control to manage and limit YouTube’s recommendations.
Our work focuses on building technology that enhances and protects human dignity by centering the needs of vulnerable populations. We work with practitioners to expand their skill set around human-centered design, while focusing on user safety, security and privacy. We share our tools and resources openly for the community to learn from and continue to adapt.More about what we do → Who we are →
All technology is designed by someone – we help you do design right. We support, connect, and coach individuals, teams, and organizations developing responsible technology, helping them integrate human-centered UX design practices into the tools they create.
We are an educational nonprofit 501(c)3 that supports practitioners in designing ethically-informed, values-driven technology that protects human rights. Our Knowledge Base contains resources for practitioners to build their skills.
What are the key challenges preventing wide adoption of decentralized technologies and how can we solve them? Find out in our new research report.
How are hallway conversations and academic conferences recreated in the digital sphere? Convocation Research + Design and Simply Secure answer this question with support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, in the new report: “What Does a Community Need?: Researching Remote Communities, Digital Events, Academic Conferences, and Tool Design during COVID19.”
In partnership with the New Design Congress, our team prepared a new research report examining consent in complex data systems.
Published in partnership with Popular Science, these Alternate Data Realities are a three-story series, exploring near future scenarios in which “we the people” benefit from our own data.
