Changing who technology serves

Simply Secure is rebranding as Superbloom. Superbloom leverages design as a transformative practice to shift power in the tech ecosystem, because everyone deserves technology they can trust.

What we do

Our work focuses on building technology that enhances and protects human dignity by centering the needs of vulnerable populations. We work with practitioners to expand their skill set around human-centered design, while focusing on user safety, security and privacy. We share our tools and resources openly for the community to learn from and continue to adapt.

Everyone deserves technology that respects their need for security, privacy, and transparency

All technology is designed by someone – we help you do design right. We support, connect, and coach individuals, teams, and organizations developing responsible technology, helping them integrate human-centered UX design practices into the tools they create.

We are an educational nonprofit 501(c)3 that supports practitioners in designing ethically-informed, values-driven technology that protects human rights. Our Knowledge Base contains resources for practitioners to build their skills.

Work with us

Thanks to support from the Open Tech Fund, Mozilla, Usable, the Prototype Fund, and others, we’ve worked with developers and information security professionals around the globe to build skills in user research, prototyping, and UX design. We also supply professional designers with peer support, security skills, and insights into the privacy implications of their work.

Through workshops, coaching sessions, consulting, and 1:1 support, Simply Secure empowers practitioners to build privacy-preserving technology.
