Susan Kennedy is a librarian-by-training who wrangles projects big and small. She has special interests in digital equity and inclusion, internet freedom issues, critical public librarianship, and participatory design research. She is also a Research Affiliate at the Community Informatics Lab, and has co-authored multiple articles and reports on subjects such as library broadband measurement and digital equity ecosystems. Susan has an MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons University where she focused on public library leadership, technology, and community and social informatics. Prior to that, she studied music composition and philosophy. She lives in Providence, RI, talks about her dog too much, still composes music sometimes, and has an abiding passion for good food.
